Responses to published photographs
In the book these girls on DUBO0894 are described as 'Daughters of Gerardine?' but we are now convinced that the girl to the left is Eugènie, Dubois' daughter. The girl to the the right might still be a daughter of Dubois' sister Gerardine.
Both Jean-Pierre de Warrimont and Bert Boekschoten have pointed out that the subscript to this photograph, DUBO1087 'Erratic boulder near Moorbeek', should probably read Noorbeek. The handwriting on the photograph is open to discussion, but the location Noorbeek makes much more sense and is therefore no doubt correct.
